Samsung Galaxy SIII
The 4.8-inch 720p display looks great -- everything appears sharp, fonts were crisp, and colors were vibrant. Samsung was not willing to tell me early if the display uses a RGB matrix display (three subpixels per pixel) or a PenTile (two subpixels per pixel) one. I suspect it's the latter because of the name of the display -- it lacks the "Plus" at end, which denotes the RGB matrix version. It's likely the S III uses the same display found on the Galaxy Note, but for a slightly smaller panel
LG Extravert
The LG Extravert has a comfortable keyboard, Android-like customization options for the homescreen, and quirky extras like a graphing and eco-calculator. The Extravert’s unresponsive screen is irritating, its smooth backing makes it difficult to grip, and there’s no designated call button.
Aside from a few design flaws and a poor touchscreen, the LG Extravert is a solid feature phone that can execute basic tasks reliably and has good call quality.
National Geographic Talk Abroad Lite
The National Geographic Talk Abroad Lite has space for two SIM cards, an FM radio, a flashlight, and 24-hour customer support. Cheap, toylike construction and missing volume controls are but two downsides. The Talk Abroad service's complicated dialing procedure takes some getting used to.
I actually read the whole post and laughed at this part. "Cheap, toylike construction and missing volume controls are but two downsides." When did a cheap phone become a downside? HAHA A lot of people would be able to buy it if it is inexpensive :)
ReplyDeletePS. Use the word inexpensive instead of cheap. It kind of ruins the brand name. :)
hahaha!! for me its a part of its downside, cause its cheap!!!
DeleteI really do prefer samsung Galaxy SIII over LG extravert..These days, a wide screen type of phone is trending... Well, I atleast think it's trending. :)
ReplyDeleteyeah!! me too, i suggest you go for the Samsung SIII or the htc One or sensation XL, this are one of the best android phones in the market :)
